• Ventilating Tube Insertion

    Ear tube insertion, also known as tympanostomy tube insertion, is
    the placement of a pressure equalizer tube into the tympanic
    membrane (see the image below). This surgical procedure treats
    middle ear fluid, which, when it persists in the middle ear
    space, can cause otitis media (acute or chronic) in addition to
    hearing loss.

  • Tympanoplasty

    Tympanoplasty is the surgical operation performed for the
    reconstruction of the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and/or the
    small bones of the middle ear (ossicles).

  • Otosclerosis

    Otosclerosis is a condition in which there's abnormal bone
    growth inside the ear. It's a fairly common cause of hearing
    loss in young adults.
